About Opny: A Legacy of Growth
Opny’s story began over ten years ago, inspired by our founder, Daniel, and his passion for helping people achieve their full potential.
While working at PepsiCo, Daniel mentored students entering the workforce, providing insights into the hiring processes of Fortune 500 companies. His guidance was especially valuable to recent graduates, helping them navigate the challenging job market.
Daniel’s entrepreneurial spirit was ignited as a child, starting small businesses in his neighborhood. This drive was further fueled by his experience of seeing his family’s third-generation business go bankrupt after his father’s sudden death and the struggles of rebuilding from the ground up.
Starting with Mastering College to Career
Daniel spoke at universities, sharing his knowledge while still working in Campus Recruitment at PepsiCo. In 2018, Daniel took a leap of faith, investing everything he had—his savings, 401k, and even taking on credit card debt—to pursue his dream full-time. After years of trial and error, he finally discovered the perfect business model in 2020.
By 2021, Opny had grown into a six-figure business
Opny is built on three pillars: a relentless focus on people, dreaming big while executing small, and a grit mentality. These values have been the foundation of our success, and they are the keys to yours as well.
We believe the best way to achieve your goals is by learning from someone who’s been there before.
Nothing great happens alone.
That is why we understand that it always comes down to put people first and humanize the process. It does not matter how big our company gets, we want to continue to build on the community aspect. No one should feel like a number. We want to motivate, encourage, and support our team to reach their goals and full potential, even if that is not with us.

SMART
As a company we have big goals, so we want everyone else to have big goals too. We encourage our team and clients to dream really big, but we understand that dreaming is not enough to make it a reality. In order to achieve a dream, you need to be ready to work for it. That’s why every big dream should come with smart execution. This means that you need to have processes and build habits to make success predictable. Dreaming big is key, but we should always think about what needs to be done to make it happen. This applies to us as a company, for our clients, and also to the communities we serve.
GRIT is the number one indicator of success, so we need to have a grit mentality in everything we do. This means that we have to be persistent, fight for what we want, and not give up after the first challenge arises. We understand that things won’t always go our way and that they will be hard, but we believe in pushing through it. We either win, or we learn but never lose. We also want to encourage a growth and abundance mindset. Which means that when we win, someone else should win too; we want to encourage win-win outcomes in everything we do.the communities we serve.
